Continuing her winning steak, Taylor Swift, dazzling in a gold
gown, took home top honors at Sunday night's American Music Awards as the
artist of the year.
"This is one of the craziest things that has ever happened to
me," the singer, who also won that honor the last time this award show was
held in 2009, said.
"Thank you to the fans. Please, never change."
Swift was also recognized as the favorite country female artist (a foregone conclusion), and her 2010 record Speak Now was dubbed the top country album.
