Britney Spears is reportedly hoping to have a 'normal life' when she marries her fiancé.
The singer has been going through a difficult time recently, following claims made by her ex-manager Sam Lutfi. He sued Britney for unpaid earnings and accused her dad Jamie of assault, although the case was dismissed this week.
During the trial, allegations were made that drug use led to Britney's infamous meltdown. She is said to be keen to marry her fiancé Jason Trawick so she can distance herself from her past.
'All of this has confirmed thoughts that Britney was already having about marrying Jason and leading a normal life. She desperately wants the court case to disappear and move on with her life and be happy,' an insider told Heat magazine.
Britney has also reportedly struggled with her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake's wedding to Jessica Biel. The pair released intimate shots of their special day and Britney has found it hard to see her former partner so happy.
During the court case it was claimed Britney's breakdown started when she split from Justin.
'Everything seems to have got on top of Britney,' the insider said. 'Justin was the love of her life and seeing their wedding played out publicly was tough.'
