With rumors over Beyonce and Mariah Carey out of the way, sources now say Rihanna is in heavy talks to appear as a judge on The X Factor this fall.
Following the firings of Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, sources say the "Talk That Talk" diva could very well end up seated between Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.
If the deal goes through, this will not be entirely new for Rihanna as she appeared on the X Factor USA last fall. At that point she sat side by side with L.A. Reid, helping to select and eliminate contestants for the Live! shows.
