Jessie J seems to be in hot demand after Simon Cowell was apparently impressed by her performance as a judge on hit show 'The Voice'. According to the Sunday Mirror, Simon Cowell wants to 'snap her up' for 'The X Factor'.
Even though Jessie J appeared on the last series of 'The X Factor' as guest judge for TULISA, she may even be offered a spot as a proper judge for this year's series. A source told the Sunday Mirror: 'Jessie is interesting, talented and credible with her own identity. Simon would double her salary but he knows she isn't only motivated by money. He can also give her the best possible platform to take her career to the next level. Being on stage in front of ten million plus people every week and performing a couple of times a series would be a major draw for someone like Jess.'
However, Jessie J may not need 'The X Factor' as her own show 'The Voice' hit impressive ratings of 9.8 million viewers last night (24 Mar 2012). Later on Jessie tweeted: 'The Voice is about celebrating talent and passion. Not laughing at people.... This is EXACTLY why I chose to be on #thevoiceuk.' Viewers are said to be very impressed by not just Jessie's performance but by the banter she had with fellow judges Tom Jones, WILL.I.AM and DANNY O'DONOGHUE.
