Tyra Banks has broken up with her boyfriend of more than three
years, John Utendahl, and gone on an “Eat, Pray, Love”-style trip to Bali.
A source tells us the
“America’s Next Top Model” diva
and Brooklyn businessman Utendahl have gone their separate ways, and Banks is in
the Far East “on a spiritual trip,” adding, “Tyra has gone away with a female
friend and has been island-hopping, visiting Bali and taking a spiritual
retreat.
” Perhaps Tyra went off to find
meaning after she appeared on Larry King’s “Dinner With the King.” In a taped
interview shown this week, she said her tough-girl appearance on “Top Model”
was just an act and, “In real life, I’m passive-aggressive . . . I’m even in
coaching to learn how to be confrontational.” King interrupted, “You’re very
sexy . . . You’re a sex symbol.” Utendahl doesn’t appear to be pining for The
Ty-rant. He was spotted on Thursday at Catch with a leggy Russian model. Banks’
rep confirmed she was traveling but added, “I do not comment on Tyra’s personal
life.”
Well we hope Tyra is enjoying her spiritual trip to Bali and not
reading Page Six while she’s there…
