Some say Kim Kardashian
must be desperate for some good PR because not only has she headed to Haiti
with her mom for
charity, she’s also raising awareness for Psoriasis and brain cancer. She contacted Maria Bello, who
co-founded the charity We Advance, to see how she could help in Haiti:
“She connected with Mario
Bello and is there with Maria’s foundation and also with her mom,” a source
close to Kardashian tells PEOPLE. “Her intention was always to take the end of
the year to focus on some of the other things that are important to her and
this trip was one.”
We
think it is great she wants to focus on doing some good and help those
less fortunate, but why does she have to announce it to the world? On her
blog she posted about how she’s helping to raise funds and awareness
for the sixth annual Walk To Cure Psoriasis and is featured in a beauty book which
raises awareness and funds for brain cancer research.
Apparently
making her soon to be ex husband Chris
Humphries out to be the bad guy on her reality show wasn’t enough, now she’s
shoving her do good deeds down our throats. … lol
