Simon Cowell will apparently be making a return to
the UK version of X
Factor - but only for
the final this weekend. The music mogul will make a live appearance either by
satellite or on Skype to reportedly comment on the appearances at Wembley
Arena.
"Simon has stayed abreast of the show from
America and has continued to have daily conference calls with his staff in the
UK," a source said. "But he didn't want to appear in the early weeks
because he needed to concentrate on his day job. There was also no point in him
overshadowing Gary Barlow and the other judges."
There's one person who would definitely like to see Simon Cowell return permanently. "I am going
to be honest, without him there on the live shows it's not the same. It's like
a big ship with no captain. He's got a great instinct and he tweaks
everything," said judge Louis Walsh.
Marcus Collins is the current favourite to win the
competition on Sunday.
