Rihanna's 2011 Loud Tour Banks $90 Million
Rihanna has been able to make good in this trying economic year. The Pop/R&B superstar's 2011 LOUD trek ranked 7th of the top 10 tours this year via Pollstar, bringing in $90 million. RiRi was able to beat out big brothers Jay-Z and Kanye West, who brought in a whopping $48.3 million with only 35 shows.
The 23 year-old's showmanship, attention to detail and giving her fans an "unforgettable experience," payed off well, putting several extra zeros in her pockets.
"We've just designed the stage and we have a section that we are building... where the fans can actually be in the show and in the stage and be closer than they've ever been. It's real VIP," Rihanna stated in the past about the LOUD experience.
North America, South America and Europe enjoyed the “Man Down” singer for six months of 99 non-stop shows in 78 cities.
Wow She's been a busy bunny. :)
