Nicki Minaj Reveals Plans For Roman Zolanski Movie
Nicki Minaj has announced that she plans to release a movie based on her Roman Zolanski character. The concept of Roman made its mainstream debut at the Grammys when the off-the-wall rapper confounded viewers with her bizarre stage routine (offending some sections of the Catholic church along the way) and now, she has revealed that that performance was merely a taste of what's to come.
In an interview with Capital FM, Minaj said "Well I've been working on this character Roman and I've been just doing some things - writing like a story and hopefully I'll make it into an actual movie." She added "I did a little snippet on the Grammys so that people could get to know the character Roman a little bit more and see how in-depth he is."
The Young Money star has just released her 21 track album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which is hotly-tipped to top the UK album chart this weekend, according to Mtv and later this year, she'll be embarking on a world tour to promote the album. The 29 year old said of the tour "I'm just looking forward to touring and performing for everyone because I put out the first album and I didn't really tour the world and I feel like now I have to get out and do it now or never." When she's finished the tour, the Young Money signing hopes to take some time out in 2013 and revealed "I'm hoping next year I'll be able to focus on the movie stuff and the acting and the books and all that."
