Jennifer Lopez has joked that her boyfriend Casper Smart has lived up to his name by bonding with her mother.
The American singer-and-actress has been dating her backing dancer for the last few months, following the breakdown of her marriage to Marc Anthony.
Her mother Guadalupe has already made friends with the 24-year-old hunk, much to Jennifer's delight.
'Casper's last name really describes him well!' Jennifer told a friend, according to Chicago Sun-Times.
Guadalupe has had varying relationships with Jennifer's previous partners. She was known to get along famously with Ben Affleck, who her daughter dated between 2002 and 2004 and was engaged to.
Guadalupe was even rumoured to have asked Ben for advice when Jennifer, 42, split from Marc last year. It's thought she didn't get along quite so well with Marc.
Casper has forged such a firm friendship with Jennifer's mom he even calls her daily to discuss what she's been up to.
He is also thought to have impressed the rest of the star's family, including her sister Lynda.
'[She] thinks he's 'a very charming and engaging guy,' said a source who works with the younger Lopez,' according to the publication.
