Oprah, Beyoncé, and Sofia Vergara Make Forbes' List of World's most Powerful Women


Forbes' unveiled their annual list of the World's Most Powerful Women this week.
Each year, 100 females are ranked by wealth, media momentum, and social impact by the popular magazine.
As for the world of entertainment, the former queen of daytime, Oprah Winfrey, snagged the number 13 slot, down from 11 last year.
Close behind the media mogul is Beyoncé Knowles, whose powerful girl power message and success brought her to number 17.

Other celebs making the list are Angelina Jolie at 37, Sofia Vergara at 38, Shakira at 52, and Gisele Bundchen at 95.

As for the top spot, list regular Angela Merkel, the current German Chancellor made her eighth appearance and seventh number 1 honor. U.S. politicians michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton took the 4th and 5th spots.
