luxury already has its perks for newborn Blue Ivy Carter.
After being whisked away from Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, in a swanky Mercedes, baby Blue has been showered with gifts from Hollywood royalty.
Her multi-millionaire parents, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, reportedly spent £240,000 alone on a tailor-made nursery.
A source said that that Bey and her rapper beau have spent a whopping £400,000 on a solid gold Ginza Tanaka rocking horse.
They added: ‘Together they’ve bought a Swarovski-studded high chair by Carla Monchen, and a Fantasy ‘posh tots’ coach carriage crib for £30,000.
‘They’ve even splashed out on a £20,000 magical windmill playhouse for the garden and a mini Bugatti car.’
And that’s not all. With a host of showbiz family friends, Blue Ivy has been inundated with pressies fit for a princess, from the likes of P Diddy, Kanye West, Rihanna, Mary J Blige and Mariah Carey.
After claiming she didn’t know what to get the little one, B’s bandmate and X-Factor star Kelly Rowland was spotted splashing her cash at the trendy Bel Air boutique Glen Kids. Kelly allegedly bought a selection of babygrows at around £190 a pop.
Although the couple are over the moon to welcome their first child in to the world, it has been revealed this week they’ve been hiding secret heartache.
This week superstar Jay-Z disclosed, in his new song Glory which he posted on his website, Beyoncé suffered a miscarriage before falling pregnant with Blue, last year.
He sings: ‘Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you’d disappear/But nah baby you magic.’
