Kanye West wants Kim Kardashian to focus on becoming an actress or fashion designer.
The 'No Church In The Wild' rapper - who has spent most of this year living in Paris, where he has been working on his new album - reportedly ''wants nothing to do with'' her reality TV shows and wants Kim to lead a more private life after she gives birth to their first child in July.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ''He doesn't want to appear on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and being out of the country made that impossible.
''Kanye did appear on the show several times before he and Kim hooked up but that was because he was trying to get with her. Now that he has her, Kanye wants nothing to do with the reality shows. He most likely won't appear at all in the upcoming season of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'.
''Kanye won't even let Kim talk to him on the phone while cameras are rolling. Kanye wants to maintain his private life.
''Kanye thinks the reality shows are a waste of time, and contribute nothing. He wants Kim to focus on her fashion designs, and maybe pursue an acting career. But he wants her to quit the reality shows.''
Newly divorced Kim, 32, recently claimed that her boyfriend, 35, is a huge fan of her family's TV shows but doesn't have time to appear on them as much as he would like.
Kanye returned to New York this week to spend time with his girlfriend of one year before their baby arrives.
