The 2012 Miss USA competition has selected multi-platinum artist Akon as a performer for the NBC live broadcast. He will share the stage with Cobra Starship, hosts Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic along with commentators Kelly Osbourne and Jeannie Mai.
The opportunity to perform at national event will allow the "Right Now" singer a chance to offer viewers new music from his forthcoming forth studio album.
During the telecast, Akon will perform "America's Most Wanted" from his upcoming effort, "Stadium," during the "Final Look" portion featuring the Top Five Finalists.
The Miss USA competition will be held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 3 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
